Members of the Tartan Army are nervously awaiting the Euro 2024 draw in Germany.
Scotland are in pot three for Saturday event, having qualified as runners-up behind former winners Spain in Group A.
Steve Clarke’s side face being drawn against teams like holders Italy, two-time world champions France and Euro 2020 runners-up England.
The draw will be made at 17:00 GMT in Hamburg’s Philharmonic Hall.
Teams will be drawn into six different groups of four, with nations split up into four different pots.
The seeding for all bar the hosts is based on how well the teams performed in qualifying.
This means Scotland will avoid being drawn against Croatia, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.
One Scotland fan from Glasgow told BBC Scotland News he was eagerly anticipating the draw.
Cameron Middleton, 25, said: “Excited is the main feeling, it’s obviously going to be such a big occasion for the country.
“With the last Euro’s being played during some Covid restrictions this does feel like the first proper international tournament we’ve qualified for since the 90s, in my opinion.
“In saying that, I am nervous for the draw, there are a good few teams who I don’t think anyone would like to come up against.
“Weirdly enough the main team I’d want to avoid is England based on the form they’ve been in.”
Cameron is one of many Scotland fans who has already booked his flights to cheer on the team, despite not knowing what cities they’ll be playing in – or if he’ll even get a ticket for the games.
“We have booked flights for a centre point near Düsseldorf, so when the draw goes ahead we, fingers crossed, shouldn’t be too far away from where Scotland are playing,” he added.
“I’ve heard of some people driving from Glasgow all the way to Cologne. Some people were also really lucky with flights and got them early on the cheap.
“I think a lot of people are on the same boat and if you manage to get tickets, ideal.
“If not then you’re still going to be there with thousands of other Scottish fans enjoying the tournament in the middle of summer. It will still be some occasion.”
Ten German cities including Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Hamburg will host matches during the tournament.
The Euro 2024 tournament kicks off in Munich on 14 June 2024.
