The Armed Forces of Ukraine Explained Why They Cannot Attack The Iskander Missile Deployment Points

The Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot attack the Iskander missile deployment points with Western weapons due to an agreement with partners.

This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat in a commentary to the Ukrinform agency.

“We do not attack targets on the territory of Russia. As the state leadership says, there is a strategy: we promised our partners not to attack with weapons that are provided to us,” the Air Force spokesman said.

This does not apply to the Ukrainian territories that the Russian Federation has captured, Ignat added.

Earlier, British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley said that the strikes of the Ukrainian armed forces on targets in Russia with Ukrainian-made weapons are legitimate from the point of view of law .

At the same time, the White House said that they did not welcome strikes on Russian territory .

Recall that on the night of June 1, Kiev was subjected to massive rocket fire . Iskander missiles were fired at the capital.
