Jens Stoltenberg believes that Kyiv now has enough military capabilities to liberate Ukrainian territories from Russian occupiers.
“NATO is providing unprecedented assistance. I am sure that Ukraine now has enough opportunities to liberate the occupied territories,” the NATO Secretary General said during a briefing following an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Oslo.
He added that the Alliance countries should do more for Ukraine and are working on a multi-year support package for Kyiv with significant funding.play video
“This will provide Ukraine with long-term deterrence and defense, and help rebuild the security and defense sector as it transitions from Soviet-era doctrine, equipment and training to full NATO compatibility,” Stoltenberg said.
